Clove Tea Recipe – A Natural Wellness Drink

This warm, aromatic clove tea is soothing, refreshing, and packed with natural goodness. It helps calm your stomach, ease mild sore throats, and freshen your breath — perfect for daily sipping.

Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) of water
4–5 whole cloves
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
1 small piece of cinnamon stick or a slice of ginger (optional, for flavor)
Instructions
Boil the water: Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat.
Add cloves: Drop the whole cloves (and cinnamon or ginger if using) into the boiling water.
Simmer: Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5–7 minutes. This helps release the clove’s essential oils and aroma.
Strain the tea: Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a cup.
Sweeten (optional): Add honey if you prefer a touch of sweetness. Stir well and enjoy warm.
Tips or Serving Suggestions
Drink one cup daily — especially in the morning — for a refreshing start.
You can mix this tea with lemon juice for an extra boost of vitamin C.
To freshen breath instantly, you can also chew 1 or 2 cloves after meals.
