Honey Garlic Glazed Carrots

Introduction:
Honey Garlic Glazed Carrots are a simple yet elegant side dish that combines the natural sweetness of carrots with a rich, buttery garlic-honey glaze. This recipe is naturally gluten-free, quick to prepare, and perfect for pairing with roasted meats, grilled fish, or vegetarian mains. Ingredients :(Serves 4)
500 g (1 lb) baby carrots, peeled and trimmed
2 tbsp butter (or dairy-free alternative)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2–3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
½ tsp ground black pepper
¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Cook the carrots
Place carrots in a large pot of salted boiling water.
Cook for 5–7 minutes until just tender but still slightly firm. Drain well.
Prepare the glaze
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add sweetness
Stir in honey, salt, and black pepper.
Let the mixture bubble gently for 1–2 minutes to thicken slightly.
Glaze the carrots
Add the cooked carrots to the skillet.
Toss well to coat them evenly in the honey-garlic mixture.
Cook for another 3–4 minutes, allowing the glaze to cling to the carrots.
Finish and serve
Transfer the glazed carrots to a serving dish.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
