Brilliant No-Knead Bread

Baking delicious, artisan-style bread at home couldn’t be simpler! This Brilliant No-Knead Bread recipe requires minimal effort and yields crusty, flavorful bread with an airy crumb—perfect for beginners and seasoned bakers alike.

Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon instant yeast
1½ cups warm water (around 110°F / 43°C)

Instructions:

1. Mix Dough
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and instant yeast.

Slowly pour in warm water, stirring gently until a shaggy dough forms. Ensure all flour is incorporated without kneading.

2. Rise Dough
Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel.

Allow dough to rest at room temperature for 12–18 hours. Dough should double in size and become bubbly on top.

3. Shape Dough
Generously flour your countertop or workspace.

Turn the dough out onto the surface and fold it over itself a few times, gently shaping it into a round ball.

Place the dough seam-side down onto parchment paper.

4. Second Rise
Cover the dough lightly and let it rest for an additional 1–2 hours until visibly puffed.

5. Bake Bread
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C), placing a Dutch oven or oven-safe covered baking dish inside while preheating.

Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven. Lift the dough on the parchment paper and place it into the pot.

Cover with the lid and bake for 30 minutes.

6. Crisp Crust
Remove the lid and continue baking for another 10–15 minutes, until golden brown.

7. Cool and Enjoy
Transfer the baked bread to a wire rack and let cool completely before slicing.
