Low Carb Crispy Buttered Ranch Chicken Strips

Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Directions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a shallow bowl, mix together the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs.

Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Place the coated chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet.

Drizzle the melted butter over the chicken strips.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Variations & Tips

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the almond flour mixture. If you prefer a different type of cheese, try swapping the Parmesan for shredded cheddar or mozzarella. For a gluten-free option, ensure your ranch seasoning mix is certified gluten-free. If you’re short on time, these chicken strips can also be cooked in an air fryer at 375°F for about 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
